Who we are

Hayami is operated by Hayami Ltd (company number NI742645), registered office Ground Floor, Gallery Building, 65-69 Dublin Road, Belfast, BT2 7HG. We are the data controller for the personal data described on this page. Contact us at[email protected].

The short version

This website sets no cookies and runsno tracking. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no advertising or cross-site identifiers.

Outside the website, we hold personal data in two cases: what you choose to email us, and the limited contact and subscription details Microsoft may share with us when you buy Hayami DTM on the Azure Marketplace. Separately, deploying from our Azure Marketplace application offer lets Microsoft associate the deployed resources with us as the publisher. We receive no data from that, and you can opt out of it. Each of these is described below.

What we process, and why

Site analytics

We currently run no analytics at all, cookieless or otherwise. If we ever adopt analytics, it will be a cookieless, aggregate-only service (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics), it will never set a cookie or persistent identifier, and we will name it here first.

Hosting and security logs

Our sites are served by Cloudflare, which processes visitor IP addresses as our processor to deliver content and to detect and mitigate abuse, as any host does.

Email you send us

If you email us, we hold your address and the correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the exchange, at most 24 months after the conversation ends, then we delete it. Our lawful basis for the processing on this page is legitimate interest: running the site and responding to the people who contact us.

Azure Marketplace purchases

Hayami DTM is sold through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. Your purchase, account, and billing data are processed by Microsoft under its own terms and privacy statement. Microsoft may share limited contact and subscription details with us so we can provide support and fulfil the order; we use them only for that.

The product itself

DTM runs entirely inside your own Azure subscription and sends no telemetry, usage data, or DNS data to us.

Deployment attribution

When you deploy Hayami DTM from our Azure Marketplace application offer, the deployment template includes a Microsoft customer usage attribution resource. It lets Microsoft associate the Azure resources you deploy with Hayami as the publisher of the software. Microsoft collects and governs this information under its own privacy policies, atmicrosoft.com/trustcenter.

Hayami receives no data from it. Microsoft does not share the consumption data it associates this way with publishers, and the resource itself carries no DNS data, configuration, or anything else from inside your deployment.

To opt out, download the deployment template from the offer in the Azure portal, remove the resource of typeMicrosoft.Resources/deployments whose name begins withpid-, and deploy the edited template. That resource deploys nothing and nothing else in the template depends on it, so removing it changes nothing about the resources that get deployed. Because you then deploy the template yourself rather than through the offer, Azure may first ask you to accept the Marketplace terms for the Hayami DTM image, for example with az vm image terms accept.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone beyond the processors named above (our host, and Microsoft in its own right for Marketplace transactions). Where a processor handles data outside the UK or EEA, it does so under recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict or object to processing, and ask for a copy in portable form. Email[email protected] and we will respond within a month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
